Departure from Thessaloniki at 08:30.

Aegae, called Vergina today, is the place which was the center of Macedonia during the reign of Philip II.

Phillip II, the king of Macedon and father of Alexander the Great, was buried here. Certainly, there is no similar museum in Europe which is housed in its original area, such as the tomb of Philip. Among the 300 tombs, this is the only one that was not looted. The visit will enchant us, since, not only the space, but also the rich discoveries are impressive. After our visit, we will continue to Edessa where we will have lunch and enjoy our coffee in the green area with the waterfalls.

Back in Thessaloniki at 17:00.
